Two-time GAC North Player of the Year Brittany Rozier signed her National Letter of Intent recently to play softball for the University of Central Missouri Jennies.

“I really liked the campus,” said Rozier about UCM, “and I’m very excited to play for the coach and team. It felt like home there.”

The Timberland High School senior, who was the Wolves’ catcher, led Timberland to its fifth consecutive GAC North title as the team finished the season with a record of 19-7. Rozier broke numerous school records with a batting average of .506, 22 RBIs and 20 runs scored.

Rozier was also named to the GAC North Division First Team all four years of her high school career.
