Some bull at the county fair
July 21, 2009
St. Charles County, MO
Can you feel the anticipation? It’s almost time for the St. Charles County Fair.
Running from July 28 through August 1, the fair will be located in Wentville’s Rotary Park.
A new attraction this year will be bull riding and D Bar D will provide the excitement. Spectators will enjoy the action on July 28 and July 29.
Other new offerings this year are a catch and release Kids’ Fishing Derby (bluegill, perch and trout); and Mad Science shows will amaze and educate.
There will be plenty more to see and do, such as: a petting zoo, pony rides, wood carving, carnival rides, climbing wall, mini rod pull, 4-H exhibitions, livestock judging, home economics and fine arts exhibits, karaoke, DockDogs shows, tractor pull, car show, mechanical bull rides, queen coronations and much more.
Check out this line-up of musical acts set to rock the fairgrounds:
The Rough Ryders on July 29 at 7:30 p.m.;
My Own Medicine on July 30 at 7 p.m.;
