Motorcycle accident results in death of man

At about 8:57 a.m., Loren M. Ryan, a 20-year-old male, of Lake Saint Louis was ejected from the 1989 Honda CBR motorcycle he was driving. The police had been chasing Ryan due to his excessive speeds.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Ryan was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Zumbehl Road just west of Highway 94. Ryan failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway and traveled off the right side of the road and overturned. He was taken to St. John’s Hospital in Creve Coeur by Arch Helicopter Service.
The fatality was pronounced at 10:41 a.m. at St. John’s Hospital.
Ryan was a 2007 graduate of Holt High School in Wentzville and was active in theater there.
