Morning fire damages garage in Wentzville

At approximately 10:15 a.m. this morning, emergency crews responded to a fire in a detached garage on Linwood Drive in Wentzville. Wentzville Fire Department responded and Wright City Fire and Lake Saint Louis Fire Departments assisted. A couple of explosions in the garage were reported but could not be verified.
According to the St. Charles County Department of Dispatch, the fire was one-alarm and there were no reported injuries. There was some damage to the garage and its contents.
There is no word on what caused the fire.
