Three Holt seniors have won First Place for their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) video production in a contest sponsored by Partners for Progress of St. Charles County and Lindenwood University.

Drew Berry from Lake St. Louis, Ryan Biggs from Wentzville, and Lindsay Ralls also from Wentzville, teamed up to create the video which focuses on careers at SSM St. Joseph West Hospital in Lake St. Louis. The students were honored at a STEM awards ceremony at Lindenwood on April 4, 2011.  This is the second award the trio received for their project.

Their video, a compilation of interviews, environmental photos and audio, also earned them a Lindy Award from the university for Best High School Short Video in the Non-Fiction category, which they received at a ceremony on March 24 at the Lindenwood Theater. The students were sponsored in the contest by Holt Business Teacher Janell Mueller.
