Where is Buddy?
June 12, 2010
St. Peters, MO
Buddy, a dog who resides at the St. Peters Utility Department, has been missing since the night of June 1. Buddy’s job is to provide extra security at the Water Plant and acts as their mascot. He is also a good friend, a real buddy.
The Water Plant is located north of Interstate 70 and east of Mid Rivers Mall Drive. Since Buddy is nervous about storms, employees believe he may have crawled under the plant’s fence during a storm on June 1.
Buddy has splotches of brown and black on his coat and weighs about 80 pounds. He resembles a lab mix, but he is probably a Portuguese cattle dog. He wears an orange collar, a name tag and two rabies vaccination tags.
According to St. Peters Animal Control, “Buddy has a good disposition, but he may not come to someone he doesn’t know.”
If you think you’ve seen a dog that may be Buddy, please call St. Peters Animal Control at 636-949-7354.
