Thinking of training to compete in a triathlon this year? Get a head start on the triathlon season by participating in a St. Peters Rec-Plex Indoor Triathlon. The Rec-Plex Indoor Triathlons are a great way to train during the cold, winter months—get a great workout and enjoy the heated indoor pool and workout rooms.

On select Sunday evenings you can compete in either the Short Course or Long Course competition category of the Indoor Triathlons. The Short Course consists of a 300-yard swim in the pool, a 10-mile ride on the SPINNING® bikes and a 3-mile run on a treadmill. The Long Course consists of a 500-yard swim in the pool, a 15-mile ride on the SPINNING® bikes and a 5-mile run on the treadmill.

Indoor Triathlons are available on the following Sundays starting at 5:30 p.m.: Jan. 16 and 30, Feb. 13 and 27 and March 13 and 27.

Advance registration is suggested, as space is limited. Drop-ins are allowed on a space-available basis. Minimum age to compete in the Indoor Triathlon is 14. The fee to compete in the Indoor Triathlon is $15 per person in advance and $20 per person the evening of the event.

The Rec-Plex also offers two full triathlons each year. The Rec-Plex Spring Triathlon will be on June 19. For more information or to register, visit stpetersmo.net/rec-connect or call 636.939.2FUN.
