Police ask for public’s help identifying suspect

The St. Peters Police Department needs the public’s help in identifying a man, and possibly accomplices, who stole a wallet from a purse at Ruby Tuesday’s on Mid Rivers Mall Drive on November 18. Within one hour of the theft, the man charged over $5,600 worth of American Express gift cards using stolen credit cards. The credit cards were used at two Walgreens locations in St. Peters.
The man is described as a 40- to 45-year-old black male with short hair and a large build, approximately 5’10” to 6’2”. He had a fresh cut on the back of his head.
