Police need help identifying theft suspects

The St. Peters Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying four subjects who used a stolen credit card at Mid Rivers Mall, spending almost $1,000 in just a few hours.

The stolen credit card was used at three stores within the mall and numerous other businesses in the St. Charles County area.

The department received surveillance video from a business at Mid Rivers Mall Drive, where the stolen credit card was used. The store wishes to remain unidentified.

The video was taken on Dec. 4, 2008 at approximately 6:30 p.m. The persons of interest are identified as follows:

Person of Interest #1: White male, early 20’s, thin build, light brown short hair, was wearing blue jeans, white shoes and a black wool-type coat.

Person of Interest #2: White male, early 20’s, medium build, dark hair, was wearing a black coat, khaki pants and brown tennis shoes.

Person of Interest #3: White male, early 20’s, thin build, dark short hair, was wearing blue jeans, a blue and white striped hooded sweatshirt and tennis shoes.

Person of Interest #4: No description.
