Local businesses help tornado victims
June 1, 2011
St. Charles County, MO
All around the area, local businesses are taking donations for the victims of recent devastating tornadoes. For those wishing to contribute, one needn’t search very far. Some locations accept monetary donations and some collect such things as non-perishable food items and clothes.
At Scale IT Down in O’Fallon, a collection of necessities has grown into quite a hefty contribution. Sandra Lepley, an employee at Scale It Down, has a mission of her own—to find homes for animals displaced by the tornadoes. Lepley helps pets, especially dogs and horses, which no one claims and which are not micro-chipped. If you would like to share your home with an animal victim, just call Lepley at 316-617-0115.
