Library replacement begins in St. Peters; watch video

The Non-Profit Development Center came crashing down Tuesday afternoon, marking the beginning of the Spencer Road Library Branch replacement. The new building, opening this year, will be two stories and 54,701 square feet.
The new branch will offer amenities such as:
*twice as much parking;
*more meeting rooms;
*a meeting area accommodating about 300 people;
*an outdoor plaza;
*more areas used for WiFi
*a reading room with fireplace;
*a drive-up book drop;
*a drive-up window for retrieving materials; and
*separate teen and children’s areas.
