St. Peters, MO
To aid in maintaining St. Peters’ housing stock and property values, St. Peters’ Home Help Program provides funding for low- and moderate-income homeowners with home rehabilitation projects such as new windows, furnace and air conditioners, roof replacement, driveway replacement or repair and more. Eligible applicants can receive up to $5,000 through a no-interest, five-year forgivable loan.
To be eligible for the St. Peters Home Help Program, you must:
*Be a resident and homeowner in the city limits of St. Peters who has not previously participated in the program.
*Live in the home for at least one year.
*Not exceed household income guidelines established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Refer to the chart to see if you meet income qualifications.
Applications for the 2011 Home Help Program will be available from December 6, 2010 to January 3, 2011 at 5 p.m. Proposed funding for this program will cover 27 spots—ten spots for those meeting the low-income qualifications and the remaining spots may be filled by those meeting low- or moderate-income qualifications.
Qualified participants will be selected based on a random lottery drawing held at St. Peters City Hall on January 8 at 9:30 a.m. Doors open at 9 a.m. Applicants do not need to be present for the drawing to be considered for the program.
