Help needed in dog bite case in St. Peters

A dog bite incident occurred on Friday, Aug. 1 at about 11:30 p.m. on Brookshire, near Country Hill South and the front of the Savannah subdivision. The city of St. Peters is asking for the public’s help with information about the dog and its whereabouts.
The dog is a described as a chocolate lab mix and may have some white on its chest. It has been reported as a little smaller than a lab and with slightly longer hair than the breed.
The dog was wearing a brown leather collar with tags and appeared to be well taken care of. After the incident, the dog ran in the direction of Countryside Drive.
