Heat is On campaign results

The St. Peters Police Department participated in the Heat is On campaign on June 25 and June 26, to crackdown on speeding, unbuckled and impaired drivers on Interstate 70.
As a result, St. Peters officers issued a total of 42 citations in a 24-hour period, including: 27 speeding citations, 5 seat belt citations, and 10 citations for various other moving and non-moving violations.
The special I-70 corridor project is part of the summer-long Heat is On campaign that kicked off on June 21 and runs through September 21.
