From the St. Peters Police Department

The St. Peters Police Department will be hosting a training session for area establishments which serve alcohol. The purpose of the training is to educate employees about underage drinking laws.

During the remainder of this year, St. Peters Police Department will be conducting a series of retail liquor licensee compliance checks as part of the 2010 Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws project. This project is supported by funding made available through the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Formula Grants Program administered by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Missouri Department of Public Safety.

We would like to invite all “Liquor by the Drink,” licensees in the City of St. Peters to the training session on Thursday April 22, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Special Agent Nancy McGhee of the Missouri Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control will teach this session at our City Hall located at #1 St. Peters Centre Boulevard.

All liquor establishments have been notified of the training sessions. If any retailers have any questions, please contact Sergeant J. Schmidt at 636-477-6600 extension 3563 or by email at jschmidt@stpetersmo.net by April 15, 2010.
