370 Lakeside Park to hold grand opening

St. Peters’ newest place for fun and relaxation will officially open on Thursday, May 19, 2011. A grand opening at 4 p.m. will officially open 370 Lakeside Park off of Highway 370.
370 Lakeside Park is a 300-acre park with a 140-acre recreational lake. Amenities include fishing, boating, camping, and RV Park, and a three-mile biking and hiking trail that goes around the lake. Visitors with fishing licenses can fish in the lake at no charge, either from the bank or by launching their own boats from a public boat launch. Canoes, kayaks, sailboats and boats with trolling motors are welcome.
The new RV Park has 50 pads and 10 tent campsites available to rent. The RV Park offers both pull-through (18’X72’) and back-in (18’X55’) sites with 50-amp services.

Campers will receive free Wi-Fi service and the benefit of on-site security. Guests of the RV Park can take advantage of St. Peters resident rates at the St. Peters Rec-Plex recreation center with indoor pools, cardio/weight room and ice rinks.
Future plans call for 370 Lakeside Park to also include park pavilions, large playgrounds, campgrounds for organized groups, a sand volleyball site, an archery range and a dog park.
The park is located just off Highway 370 at Cave Springs Road in St. Peters, MO. Take the Truman Road/Cave Springs Road exit, and travel north to the park.
