The deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 4 Presidential Election is Wednesday, Oct. 8. If you’re not registered, get moving to a public school, library or city hall with some sort of identification. You must also be at least 18 years old by Nov. 4.

What if you’ve moved or are homeless?

A registered voter in St. Charles County can vote even if they move to another address within the county for any reason.  In the case of a move, the Election Authority Office needs notified at 636-949-7550. Residents can vote whether they move voluntarily or because of a foreclosure.

According to a representative in the St. Charles County Election Authority Office, one does not need a mailing address in order to register to vote.

A homeless person just uses the area they call home—even if it is behind a business or under a bridge.

About 5 to 10 homeless persons are currently registered to vote in St. Charles County.

The Election Authority Office is located at 397 Turner Boulevard in St. Peters and can be reached at 636-949-7550.
