Tuesday, Governor Blunt recognized the success of the Missouri Accountability Portal (MAP) as the website reached over 7 million hits since its launch last year.
Visitors to the MAP website are able to track Missouri tax dollar expenditures, almost in real time. The site is updated at the close of each business day.
Anyone can access state spending information by searching by budget category, vendor or contract. State employee salaries are even posted on the site.
According to Governor Blunt’s website, the MAP site is one of the first of its kind in the nation.
