County surplus sale Saturday

A surplus property sale will be held from 9:00 a.m. – noon on Saturday, April 26 at 212 Turner Boulevard in St. Peters, and items from St. Charles County Government offices will be sold.

Some of the items are good for parts only, but computer/electronic equipment, office furniture/equipment and other miscellaneous items will be available. Bids will be accepted in a silent auction format.

The Sheriff’s Department will also have a live auction for items seized during criminal investigations, such as bicycles, cell phones, tools, electronic equipment, etc.

In addition, some items from Smartt Field, 6390 Grafton Ferry Road, are available. They can be viewed at the county airport from April 21 - 25 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and sealed bids on the specific items can be submitted before noon at 212 Turner Boulevard on April 26. Call Airport Director Tracy Smith at 636-250-3200 for information.

The Family Arena also is seeking sealed bids on a martial arts ring, 35-feet wide and sided; soccer turf, 200 feet by 85 feet; and football turf 200 feet by 85 feet. Call Mark Buford, interim director of the Family Arena at 636-949-3034, ext. 7339 for more information. These items also can be viewed April 21 – 25 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. and sealed bids must be received by noon on April 26 at 212 Turner Boulevard.

To reach the surplus sale, take I-70 to the Highway 79 exit, drive north and merge at the first right leading to the North Service Road. At the stop sign, continue straight onto Turner Boulevard, and follow to the third entrance at 212 Turner Boulevard.

The sale will be cash and carry, and all sales are final.
