Four-car accident injures one

On Thursday, Oct. 1, at about 2:05 p.m., Anthony C. Anderson, 30, from Kasson, MN, was driving a 2010 Mack Tractor westbound on Interstate I-70 west of Zumbehl.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an accident occurred as the vehicle Anderson was driving struck the rear of a 1999 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Mark G. Webber, 27, of St. Louis.
The Cherokee began skidding and changed lanes into the path of a 1993 Chevrolet Lumina Van, driven by Jan A. Nilsson, 49, of St. Peters. Nilsson was unable to stop in time and the front of the van struck the left side of the Cherokee.
Nilsson changed lanes and struck a 2008 Jeep Liberty, driven by Thomas M. Stanley, 55, of Lebanon, IL. The impact caused the Liberty to overturn.
Nilsson suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in St. Charles by St. Charles County Ambulance.
Everyone involved wore seatbelts during the accident.
