Wolfrum Road construction soon

The St. Charles County Highway Department has announced that Wolfrum Road, about a quarter of a mile east of Patriotic Trail, will be closed for about two months to replace a failing culvert pipe. A new concrete box culvert will replace the old culvert pipe.
Construction is planned to begin the first week of July and is expected to continue until the end of August.
Local traffic on either side of the closure location will be able to access Wolfrum Road, but no through traffic will be allowed. A detour route has been posted as well as signs at Patriotic Trail and Independence Road indicating the closure.
