St. Charles woman dies in accident

Yesterday, at about 1:40 p.m., Darrell R. Stagner, 48, of Mitchell, IL, was driving a 2006 Volvo westbound on Missouri 180 near Northwest Industrial in St. Louis County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol: the accident occurred as Jennifer M. Francisco, 36 of St. Charles, pulled into Stagner’s path. The front end of the Volvo struck the left side of the vehicle Francisco was driving, a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am.
Francisco was pronounced dead at the scene. No injuries were reported for Stagner. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
