What’s going on in St. Charles during the rest of the month? Oh, there is so much to do--storytelling, sweets, a state celebration, a surplus sale and more.
October 20
Celebrate Missouri Day at the First Missouri State Capitol. Learn state symbols and watch demonstrations. There will also be hands-on activities and guest speakers. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The First State Capitol Historic Site is located at 200-216 South Main Street. For more information, call 636-940-3322.
October 22 and October 23
Storytelling and Ghost Stories at the Katy Depot. Come hear “spooky” stories on Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Katy Depot is located in Frontier Park at 500 South Riverside Drive.

Surplus Sale. St. Charles area residents and businesses are invited to this annual public auction at St. Charles City Hall, 200 North Second Street beginning at noon. See the complete list of items for auction here.

Trick or Treat on Main. For kids under 12 years old who are wearing costumes. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. This is a free event.
