Move-in day at Linden Lodge

Today, Sunday, is move-in day for Lindenwood University students residing at Linden Lodge on Veterans Memorial Parkway, formerly Days Inn Hotel.
The university reportedly purchased the hotel for $3 million and will not pay taxes on the property, since Lindenwood is a not-for-profit organization.
Lindenwood University President James Evans stated the university spent about half of what would have been necessary to build a new dorm, and this building was mostly move-in-ready upon purchase.
Linden Lodge is about a mile from campus. Fall classes begin at Lindenwood University on Monday, August 23.
