“Let’s go fly a kite” in the wide open space at Woodland Sports Park in St. Peters during the annual Kite Festival on May 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sponsored by the St. Peters Ranger Division, this is a free event for the whole family and a community favorite to get out and enjoy some fresh air.
Take advantage of the spring winds with other kite enthusiasts at Woodlands Sports Park soccer fields, a great place to experience the thrill of flying a kite. The first 100 kids will receive free kite-building kits. Refreshments will be available at a nominal cost.
Woodlands Sports Park is located at #1 Woodlands Parkway and can be reached by turning from Ohmes Road onto Woodlands Parkway. Ohmes is available from Mid Rivers Mall Drive coming from the east and Birdie Hills Road from the west.
