Accident seriously injures two

On Wednesday, Aug. 26, at about 5:55 p.m., Jason M. Eberhart, 30, of St. Louis, was driving a 2008 Ford F150 eastbound on Interstate 70 near 5th Street.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2004 Ford Focus, driven by William B. Webb, 22, of O’Fallon, struck the rear of the F150, causing a passenger in the bed of the truck to be ejected.
Due to serious injuries, an occupant in the F150, Jarvis K. Potter, 25, of St. Louis, was taken to St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles by St. Charles County Ambulance.
Webb also suffered serious injuries and was taken to DePaul Hospital by Pattonville Fire.
No one listed above was wearing a seat belt during the accident.
