Timberland senior and Wolves midfielder Ashley McCaffrey has committed to play soccer at William Woods University in Fulton, MO.
With her mom Linda and her dad Mike at her side, Ashley signed her Letter of Intent to play for the Owls at Timberland High School. Ashley has earned varsity letters in soccer since her arrival at Timberland her sophomore year and plays for the Lou Fusz Soccer Club.
She has a 3.7 GPA, is a member of National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, the yearbook staff and manages the boy’s varsity soccer team.
“Ashley’s commitment to the pursuit of excellence in the classroom and extra-curricular activities made her an obvious choice for William Woods,” said Randy Hall, William Woods Head Women’s Soccer Coach. “We are very pleased that she will be representing our institution over the next four years.” Ashley added “I loved the school. The girls seemed really nice and I’m looking forward to playing soccer there.”
Ashley plans to pursue a degree in graphic design.
