Smoke-free ordinance public hearing

The Lake Saint Louis Board of Aldermen will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. at the Civic Center for interested parties to voice their opinions about the proposed smoke-free act.

The proposed ordinance would replace the current municipal code chapter 217, Smoking Regulations, with a new chapter 217 titled the Lake Saint Louis Smoke-free Air Act of 2010.

Under the new legislation, smoking would be prohibited in all enclosed places within the city of Lake Saint Louis, including (but not limited to) bars, restaurants and restrooms.
