Accident involves teen on motorcycle

On Tuesday, October 26, John M. Biggum, 51, of Four Seasons, Missouri, was driving a 2007 Dodge RAM 3500 westbound on Interstate 70 near Highway Z.
Charles D. Nelson, 19, of Lake Saint Louis was riding a 1985 Honda XR600R and was also heading westbound on Interstate 70.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Honda made a lane change and struck the left rear of the Dodge RAM.
Nelson suffered moderate injuries and was taken to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center by St. Charles County Ambulance. Biggum was wearing a seatbelt during the accident. Nelson was exempt from wearing a safety device on the Honda motorcycle.
