Accident involves Missouri Highway Patrol car

A Lake Saint Louis man, Blake W. Andrews, 20, was heading westbound on I44, near the 184 mile marker, Monday at about 8:14 a.m. in a 1997 Ford Taurus.

Andrews traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a Missouri Highway Patrol vehicle, a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria P-850. The patrol car was off the roadway and disabled due to a previous accident. The driver of the patrol car, Aimee N. McMahon, 26, of Rolla, was not in the car at the time of impact.

No injuries were reported from this accident.

Damage to the patrol car was reported as “extensive” and included a dent to the left rear bumper. Damage to the Taurus was reported as “minor” and the car was driven from the scene.
