Area youths are invited to skate and play the night away at the first-ever Youth Activity Park Lock-in. Designed to celebrate the YAP’s 33,000 square-foot skate park and many other amenities, the round-the-clock event on Saturday, June 5 includes a pizza party at midnight.

Beginning at 6 p.m. and ending the next morning at 6 a.m., participants will have all-night access to the YAP’s skate park, which is the largest public outdoor skate park in the Midwest. Skateboarders can challenge friends in the Best Trick or “S-K-A-T-E” contests or show off their latest moves at the skate course.

The cost to attend the Lock-In is $25 per person and is limited to those 12-18. Pre-registration is required, and participants must be registered members of the park. For registration information or questions, please call the YAP at 636-561-4964.

A second Lock-in is planned for Saturday, Aug. 7.
